The Hill House Inn is situated in the pretty seaside village of Happisburgh on the East Norfolk coast. We have miles of quiet, sandy beach walks on our doorstep. Happisburgh is rich in heritage with a large conservation area and many grade 1 & 2 listed buildings to be discovered around our village footpaths. Happisburgh has headlining coastal erosion, where you can see first hand the power of the sea and recent archeological discoveries uncovered by the British Museum.
Only 40mins from the city of Norwich, you can relax and unwind in a traditional country pub. The Signal Box and The Coach House have period features of the building which dates back to 1550. Both of which are accessed from our courtyard.
The Signal Box is dog friendly Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Enjoy the panoramic sea views from the 21 foot window. The Signal box has its own entrance where guests can come & go as they please. Entry to the large bedroom and en suite bathroom is on the first floor. The Signal Box sleeps a family of four; double bed, single bed and fold-down single z-bed with en suite bathroom. Rates start at £75 per couple, £100 for three and £105 for four people per night (including breakfast). A £5 charge per dog applies.
The Coach House is a recently refurbished, disabled friendly ground floor double bedroom. With wheelchair friendly access and a large wet room style shower. The Coach House has its own entrance where guests can come & go as they please. Rates are £75 per night including breakfast.
Breakfast is included in the room price and served between 8am-10am (earlier or later breakfast times maybe available if pre requested). Breakfasts are served at the Happisburgh Halt Cafe and include delicious full English breakfasts (with vegetarian option), cereals, juices, coffee & teas, toast & jams.
